Unfortunately we have been unable to locate a picture or roster for the 1972 baseball team. Prior to 1973, school yearbooks were unable to include spring sports in the yearbook for school year. Instead, the spring sports would be included in the following year's yearbook. Because of this, the 1972 yearbook includes the 1971 baseball team photo and roster. However, the 1973 yearbook does inlcude spring sports from 1973. Because of this we do not have a 1972 team photo or roster.

We have been able to locate 12 games that were played that year in the Daily Reporter's archives. On May 17, 1972 the Trojans swept Northwest in a doubleheader. The article from the game places the Trojans in second place in the Senate League with a league record of 6-3 and an overall record of 8-8. The article also indicates the Trojans have one game remaining at Lake. While we can't find an article with the result of the Lake game, we did find an article published on May 22, 1972 with the final Senate League standings. Tusky Valley finished in second place in the league with a 7-3 record. Therefore, we can conclude that Tusky Valley defeated Lake in the final game of the '72 season but we do not have the actual score from this game
