The 1979 baseball season was as exciting off the field as it was on the field. The team compiled an impressive 10-11 record throughout the season. The team was led by six seniors but the highlight of the season was when junior Darren Ray threw a no-hitter vs. West Holmes. The reserve team complied a 4-9 record after a strong start. The reserves enjoyed the game under the direction of Coach Stevens while the varsity was directed by Coach Osborne.
