The Tusky Valley Trojans of 1958-59 had a very successful season with Coach Bob Heller at the helm. By posting a 17-1 record in regular season play, the Trojans finished in 2nd place in the County League standings being beaten only by Midvale. The squad consisted of 5 seniors, 5 juniors, and 2 sophomores. Ben Price and Roy Buchanan were co-captains. Coach Bob Heller was selected Coach of the Year. Ben Price was voted Most Valuable Player of the Year.

The Trojans were runners-up in the county tournament beating Tuscarawas and Garaway and being defeated by Midvale. In the District, the Trojans beat Dennison St. Mary's and then were defeated by Hiland.
