The 1962-63 basketball season was a successful one for the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans. Although they started off slowly, they zoomed back to capture second place in the County League. Using their ability and determination, the Trojans ended the scheduled season games, winning 12 and losing 6. The County League record was 6-2, with victories against Gnadenhutten, Stonecreek, Baltic, Strasburg, Port Washington, and Garaway. The defeats were at the hands of Midvale and Tuscarawas.

TV High scored 1,118 points to their opponents 1,079. The squad was composed of three seniors, six juniors, and two sophomores; and prospects for next year are highly favorable.
