The 1983-84 Varsity Basketball team finished with an 11-11 record. The season was highlighted by upset wins over state ranked Coshocton 77-72 and Strasburg 49-46. The Trojans were led by Senate League Most Valuable Player Kevin Lake. The following players won there awards this season: Kevin Lake- Senate League MVP, 1st Team All Senate, District 5 1st Team, Eastern District 2nd Team, All Ohio Honorable Mention, Most Assists-School Record, Best offensive player; Toby Oswald- 2nd Team All- Senate, 2nd Team District 5 Eastern Honorable Mention, Most Assists, Best Defensive Player; Greg Williamson- Honorable Mention District 5, Honorable Mention All-Senate, Best Defensive Player; Mike Cerett- Honorable Mention All- Senate; Kevin Dallas- Mr. Hustle; Scott Coates- Most Improved Player.
