Below is an excerpt from the TVHS yearbook

This year's boys basketball team was more successful than the 2-18 record showed. Eight of the 18 losses were by five or less points. The Trojans showed signs of improvement throughout the entire season.

"I felt that it was a season of almost," stated junior Jeremy Eckinger. "We were so close so many times but just couldn't hit that clutch shot."

"It would have been nice to win the Buckeye Trail game. However, that game was just a mark of our entire season," expressed senior Matt Meeker.

"I can't believe we lost the East Canton game," said junior Mike Rumer. "I thought for sure we had won the game."

Although the Trojans had a 2-18 record this season, things are looking brighter for them in the future. The reserves had a successful season and Coach Franks will look for them to contribute next year.
