Strasburg controlled play throughout on their way to a 20-2 victory at Strasburg field on Friday night.  The victory gave Strasburg the lead in the Tuscarawas Valley Conference.

Strasburg started the game off strong as they were able to score first when Bob Haswell carried the ball scoring from the one yard line. Strasburg goes on to score again as Haswell throws a 20-yard pass to George Gessner and it was now 14-0. The Trojans were able to score their only two points in the second quarter, when Strasburg’s Haswell stepped out of the end zone for a safety. The Trojan defense was able to keep the Tigers off the scoreboard in the third quarter but in the fourth Roger Jacobs scored the final Strasburg touchdown from the 2-yard line, making it a final score of 20-2.

Strasburg had 14 first downs compared to Tusky's three and the Tigers had 283 yards on the night compared to the Trojans’ 97 yards.
