Below is an excerpt from the yearbook
The Trojans 1965 season started out with a bang by beating Dalton Bulldogs for the first time in seven years. With the help of fifteen returning lettermen the team posted a record of 8 wins and 2 losses.
The Trojans ended eleventh in the United Press International and the Associated Press.
In the past two seasons the Trojans have a record of 15 wins, 4 losses, and one tie.
Head coach Jack Bair and his assistants Larry Foltz, Bill Frye, and Jim Heller were very pleased with the 1965 season.
The Trojans will lose ten strong seniors; but with seventeen mighty men coming back next year, T.V. can look forward to a very successful season.
