The football coaches included: Dan Evans, Backfield Coach, Larry Foltz, Head Coach, Allan Thompson, Line Coach, and Robert Laghetto, Freshmen Coach.
The following students were named to the All-Senate League: John Finlayson, Guard, Randy Burkhart, Halfback, Craig Deubner, Halfback, Ray Peden, End, Ray Geissinger, Quarterback, Larry Notz, Center, Ernie Bailey, Tackle, Floyd Oryszak, Tackle, and Jim Wolfe, Halfback.
Larry Notz and Ernie Bailey were also named to the All-Ohio Second Team.
The Co-Captains for the 1970 football team were seniors, Randy Burkhart and Jim Wolfe.
Other seniors included: Sam Pirolozzi, John Finlayson, Jim Foster, Mario Ionno, Dale Adams, Keith Kennison, Floyd Oryszak, Larry Notz, and Arnie Bailey.
The football awards were held December 10, 1970. Third year awards were presented to R. Burkhart, E. Bailey, J. Wolfe, K. Kennison, and J. Finlayson.
Second year awards were presented to T. Lundenberger, C. Duebner, G. Martin, R. Levengood, R. Geissinger, R. Peden, M. Ionno, and L. Notz. First year awards were presented to W. Rex, J. James, J. Fishley, D. Adams, M. Clugston, and L. Banks.
