The 1979-80 TV football team, under the guidance of Coach Larry Humbert, started out with a bang, beating Dalton 7-0. They carried that winning attitude into the Indian Valley North game. It paid off as the Trojans had another 7-0 win. The Trojans were flying high as they entered their first All-Ohio Conference contest with Fairless. A very good Falcon team handed the Trojans their first loss. The Trojans then lost its next seven games in the tough AOC. The Trojans 2-8 record in no way indicated the desire and spirit displayed by the team.
