The 1975 girls' basektball team opened the season in dominating fashion as sophomore Linda Deibel pumped in 23 points in a 53-12 victory over TCC. The opening game was a sign of things to come as the Trojanettes defeated Indian Valley North, Indian Valley South, and Newcomerstown in decisive fashion to improve to 4-0 on the season

The girls then faced adversity that the girls' basketball program had never faced before as Tusky Valley lost back to back games for the first time in school history. First the Trojanettes fell to New Philadelphia 52-48 despite 27 points from Deibel. The Trojanettes followed that up with a 42-36 loss to Garaway that dropped their record to 4-2 on the season.

On February 26th the Trojanettes ended their losing streak in resounding fashion as they defeted the Hiland Hawks 78-18. The game is particularly notable as Deibel set a new school record for points in a game as she poured in 33 points in the rout.

The Trojanettes would go on to win their next seven games including decisive wins over Ridgewood, Lakeland, Strasburg, Jewett-Scio and Sandy Valley. The stretch was highlighted by Deibel's 18 point, 22 rebound performance vs. Lakeland.

Tusky Valley would also have the opportunity to travel to Toledo and participate in the Toledo Invitational during the 1975 season. The Trojanettes opened play in the invitational by defeating Oregon Clay 36-31 on March 3rd. They returned to Toledo the following weekend and once again came home victorious as they defeated Taft 43-42 behind 26 points from Deibel. The Trojans run in the Toledo Invitaitonal would end when they would fall to Toledo Central 46-31.

The '75 Trojanettes finished the season with a 12-3 record. The season marked the end of head coach Mary Sweitzer's run as coach of the Trojanettes as she resigned her teaching position on July 15, 1975. She compiled a record of 31-6 during her three seasons.

After six seasons of play, the girls' basketball record at Tusky Valley stood at 73-10.
