Through the devoted efforts of Coach Cuthbert and the determination of the enthusiastic players, the girls basketball team doubled their season record of the previous year. The varsity team ended with a record of 6-15 while the reserve team finished the season 8-12. Junior Karin Lawver was named most improved player and sophomore Becky Rhodes was recognized as best offensive player and for being selected to the first team A.O.C. Rhonda Brinkman was honored for the most rebounds of the season and received the coveted coach's award. The team will have seven returning lettermen next year while losing senior Sherri Norris who received honorable mention in the A.O.C. and was named to the second team in District Five.
