With back to back PAC-7 titles under their belts, the Lady roundballers surge into tournament play and battle their way... to the District Semifinals. This was a great team. The girls showed dedication, enthusiasm, and most importantly, they worked very hard during practice. These were the attributes which led us to a 16-5 overall record and first place bid for the PAC-7 title," stated Coach John Hurst.

"I felt the season went really well. There were some games where we struggled, but luckily we were able to pull ourselves out of it. This was probably one of the most team-oriented that I have had the pleasure of being on," said Heather Fishley, captain.

"This team was different in that we won because we played more as a team. There wasn't one person who scored all the points. They all contributed. This team really got along, and if a team gets along the way we did, a successful season will always be the result," added Hurst.

"I thought we had a great season. As the year progressed, we were able to pull together as a team and we showed everyone how a team should play," rea marked senior Ann Hochstetler.

Post-season awards went to Tennille Burkhart (jr.), Most Improved, 1st Team PAC-7, 2nd Team District 5, 3rd Team Eastern District; Dani Fishley (soph.) Best Offensive Player, MVP, 1st Team PAC-7, 1st Team District 5, 1st Team Eastern District, Special Mention All-State; Heather Fishley (sr.), Best Defensive Player, Most Rebounds, 1st Team PAC-7, HM District 5; Ann Hochstetler (sr.), Co-Coach's Award; Stephanie Selinsky (jr.), Co-Coach's Award.
