Youthful and inexperienced soccer players were led by nucleus of ten returning lettermen. The Tusky Valley boosters compiled a 5-9-3 overall record while facing a field of competitors varsity improved over the previous season.

"At the beginning of the season we had so many new positions to fill, and that was one of the hardest parts to adjust to. There was a large number of players who had never even played soccer before, but it was a learning process, and we handled it well It this year's team had more experience with one another, there would have been a big difference in our record. There are so many younger players who are interested, and that should give us a good reputation in the sport of soccer," said Bill Angione, goalie.

"The first highlight I can think of is a personal one. It's being able to come back to the school, I graduated from and having the opportunity to coach. The biggest thrill was working with this team. To watch these young men work hard at practices and dedicate all their time and energy to make this a successful program shows me a strong future for Tusky in soccer," said Head Coach Terry Nil.

Post-season awards went to, Ted Akins, (sr.), Best Offensive player; Bill Angione, (sr.), Division II All-Star Team and Best Defensive Player, Zach Hawthorne, (sr.), Most Improved Player.
