"Our Record was pretty much split down the middle," said Carrie Ragon. "But we had a lot of fun and got some big wins at the same time."

The Trojans pulled off some exciting victories over top teams such as Fairless and Coventry. Fairless' only PAC defeat was handed to them by the ladies, 14-11. "The Coventry game was the best for me," stated freshman Michelle Roden. "It was so exciting to beat a top team like them."

On the other hand,some close losses were suffered. Against both Central Catholic and Tuslaw, the team gave up hard-fought games by one run. From this player/writer's view-point, the game at Tuslaw was frustrating because we were so close to winning. If we had defeated them,our standing in the PAC would have improved. Everyone played hard, and it was a definite improvement over our first game against them, which we lost 10-0.

One downside to the season was the disappointing loss during the first tournament game against John Glenn. The Trojans led the game 5-4 until the top of the fifth. John Glenn started a hitting streak and never looked back. When the dust settled. When the dust settled, Tusky's lead had slipped away and John Glenn was the victor, 5-16.
