The Trojans came into their season with their eyes set on the PAC title. In the end, they came up a few runs short of first, but enough to claim the second slot.

The team had some great moments on the field as well as off, like in the big PAC game against Sandy Valley. It came down to the bottom of the 11th inning with two outs and the winning run on second. Freshman Saraeward did her job and hit in the winning run. "It was great! I knew what I had to do, and I wanted to get the game over with, so I did it."

Off the field the girls had some good times as well. "I'll never forget what Sheli and Courtney did to coach after a game one time at Pizza Hut, or the 'sa sa sa ss' thing, that was something that was funny even at the end of the season," added Marissa Bour.

The Trojans were knocked out by the #1 seeded Strasburg in the sectional finals of tournament play. "I thought we had them (Strasburg). Then we had one bad inning and just couldn't recover," stated junior, Jen Varansky.

The Trojans did show a tremendous improvement over last season. With the help of their new coach, the team improved their PAC record from 2-8, to a second place 6-4. "I felt that he did a lot with he program in his first year here. He worked a lot on fundamentals and teamwork." said Shonna Holdsworth.

The Trojans finished up their season with an overall record of 12-11.
