The varsity team had its difficulties playing for the first time in the Senate League. Despite this fact, the team's overall playing, team effort, and spirit have greatly improved.

The many overall contributions of the team include: Suzie Nelson with her aggressiveness at the net, Jodi Weinhardt with her confident back row playing, Melodie Anthony and Anita Blake with their spiking attacks, Bridgett Young with her enthusiasm, Tonya Bricker with her improved setting ability, Lisa Baker with her backline defense, and Ellen Katoll with her consistent serving contributions.

This year Suzie was voted First Team All Senate League and Melodie Anthony received Honorable Mention in the Senate.

The following awards were distributed at the end of the season: Most Improved Player- Cindee Welker, Best Defensive Player- Suzie Nelson, Best Attack Player- Tonya Bricker, Best Server- Melodie Anthony, and Coaches Award- Jodi Weinhardt. The girls ended their season with the Varsity 2-21 and the Reserves 9-12.
