Perfect bumps, awesome sets, and grueling spikes pretty much summed up the offensive Lady Volleyballers. The varsity team sparkled in victory with a 23-1 record. They netted the PAC-7 championship, the Sectional championship, and the District Runner-up spot.

When asked about team weaknesses and strengths, head coach Kerry Swigert remarked, "Our weakness was our slowness; our strength was our defense. The distance traveling to the teams in the new league was difficult at times, but the new teams and coaches were very competitive."

However, those new teams did not pose enough competition for the undefeated Trojan volleyballers. The girls finished 20-0 regular season and 23-1 overall, the best T.V. record ever.

Senior Kim Shellock stated, "Our volleyball season this year was awesome. I had a lot of fun working with my friends and teammates. It is not often you see a team go undefeated in a season as we did. We worked together and tried our best and that's what really counts in the end."

Rookie reserve coach Diana Riggle commented, "This was a whole new experience for me. I probably learned as much as the girls. We had a young reserve team with a lot of potential. The win-loss record for the reserves was up and down, but the team showed improvement in a lot of areas."

Senior PAC-7 Player of the Year Holly Rhodes remarked, "This season was a season that I always dreamed of and I'm glad I could have shared it with the team. Our friendships are what made our team strong and without them we never could have accomplished Tusky Valley's first volleyball championship."
