Below is an excerpt from the yearbook:

With an unlimited amount of talent, the netters once again created a strong competitive team in the PAC.

Carrie Ragon commented about the year, "We had a great team this year. Winning a lot makes the season a lot funner!"

The Trojans most definitely ended the season successfully with a 10-4 record in the conference and a 19-7 overall record. Although they were unable to capture their goal of placing first in the PAC, second place behind Indian Valley was no sorrow to weep over. "Our team proved to be an impressive team. I'm very proud of what they have accomplished with me as a first year head coach," said Coach Jen Lauber.

Always providing to be an awesome combination, power spiker Michele Gehring loved slamming a set from outstanding setter Sara Lundenberger. "All summer I practiced with the basketball to make my hands stronger for volleyball. Hard work, dedication, and having Carrie Ragon to look up to made me a better setter," commented Sara Lundenberger.

After defeating Sandy Valley and Stuebenville C.C., the girls claimed Sectionals winning an impressive match against Ridgewood. They then fell to Buckeye Train in the first round of districts.

Post-season awards went to Carrie Ragon, (sr.), Outstanding Server, and Co-Outstanding Setter; Sarah Lundenburger, (fr.), Co-Outstanding Setter; Michele Gehring, (sr.), Outstanding Blocker and Miss Offense; and Missy Levengood, (sr.) Miss Defense.

Who did you consider to be the team's greatest PAC foe?

Melissa Bolitho- "Tuslaw was our teams's greatest foe because they have always beaten us. This year we changed!"

Michele Gehring- "Indian Valley. We were beaten by them the first time. The second time we played them I was hurt and we ended up losing a close match."
