I plan on attending Kent State University to major in English.

What is your favorite quote to live by?

"Today is going to be a good day and here's why; because today, at least you're you and that's enough" - Dear Evan Hansen

What grade levels did you attend Tusky Valley Schools?

K-12

What is your favorite memory of your time at Tusky Valley (K-12)?

Marching halftime at every football game with my band family.

Who was your favorite teacher (K-12 including Buckeye) and why?

Mrs. Lindon because she helped me realize how much I truly love literature and English class in general. She always kept us smiling, even if we weren't having a good day. She has also helped me immensely in the stressful process of choosing a college and what I should be looking for when becoming an English major.

Which project, paper, assignment, etc. that you completed during your time at TV (K-12) were you most proud of and which teacher was it completed for?

My favorite project that I have ever done was a group video for my German II class. We traveled to several different areas to film our "TV show" and had a great time doing it.

Stressful but worthwhile

What extracurricular activities did you participate in while at Tusky Valley?

I participated in volleyball, basketball, marching, concert, and jazz band, and helped with the stage crew for the school theater productions.

What was your favorite extracurricular or after school activity (sports, band/choir, play, clubs, attending events, etc) that you participated in and why?

By far my favorite extracurricular has been band. It has taught me life lessons and given me an appreciation for music that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Band has also given me friendships that I wouldn't trade for the world. I love being part of something that makes you feel like one big, weird, happy family.

If you could start high school all over, what is one extracurricular or after school activity you would have participated in that you didn't?

I would be part of the cast for the theater productions instead of just crew. I would also try being part of the speech and debate team.

What is the one piece of advice you would give incoming freshman?

Don't be in a rush to grow up. Enjoy the days you have now and make the most of them. The future always arrives a little before you are ready to give up the present.

If you could change one thing about our school, what would it be? Note: Bashing anyone will not be accepted. Feel free to express your feelings about what you'd like to see changed but we will not publish bashing of individuals.

I wish our student body would have more school spirit.

Who in your life do you most admire and why? This can be anyone you choose including family members, friends, bosses, teachers, etc.

I have always looked up to and admired my parents for various reasons. Not only do they work everyday to make their children's lives better, they also laugh and have fun with whatever they do. They always want what is best for my sisters and I, even if we are being little brats. I hope to make them proud with whatever I do in my future, and use their positive influences as a guide in my future endeavors.
