What are your plans after graduation?

Next year, I have decided to further my education at Kent State University while majoring in Political Science and minoring in Pre-Law and Paralegal Studies.

What is your favorite memory of your time at Tusky Valley (K-12)?

My favorite memory of my time at Tusky has to be from our 8th grade DC trip. The first night there, Maddie Conklin and I were jokingly arguing and by the end of it she smacked her head on the A/C unit and we both ended up on the floor laughing.

Who was your favorite teacher (K-12 including Buckeye) and why?

My favorite teacher is Mr. Paisley. Not only is he a great teacher, he is also a great person (even though he will deny it). His class has brought a lot of great and funny memories along with it. Also, he has dealt with many of my mental breakdowns. Thank Paisley!

What was your favorite K-12 class or grade level and why?

My favorite class was my Pre-AP government class that I took during junior year. Although I had to write a lot of papers and thought I was going insane, I absolutely loved the actual class from the people in there to the topics we covered. There are not many classes where teachers throw markers, jump out of windows and hold oranges while teaching.

What was your most embarrassing moment during your time at Tusky Valley?

Remember that time that I dyed my hair red and then dated Clint? Yeah, it was a rough year.

Which project, paper, assignment, etc. that you completed during your time at TV (K-12) were you most proud of and which teacher was it completed for?

The project I am most proud of is probably my science fair project that I completed with Charley McCune last year. Our project was over the regeneration of kidneys and it was completed for Mrs. Gulling. We got an overall superior, but we couldn't advance due to lack of an actual human kidney to test.

Describe your senior year in 3 words.

ALWAYS VERY STRESSFUL.

Have you suffered from senioritis this year?

Yes. The answer is a strong yes.

What was the biggest highlight of your senior year?

Learning that it was okay if I fail physics.

What is your favorite school tradition and why?

Probably doing Tequila for cheer with the band... It's a dance that we do for pep rallies and games, and was always my favorite.

How have you changed since freshman year?

I personally don't think I have changed, but if you ask any teacher who's known me throughout the years (@ Mrs. Leshon) or my friends, they would probably give a different answer.

What extracurricular activities did you participate in while at Tusky Valley?

I participated in drama/theater, cheerleading, track, band, student council and BBBS.

What was your favorite extracurricular or after school activity (sports, band/choir, play, clubs, attending events, etc) that you participated in and why?

I would say cheerleading because not only did I make some of the best friends throughout the years, I also made a lot of memories I will cherish for years to come.

If you could start high school all over, what is one extracurricular or after school activity you would have participated in that you didn't?

Speech and Debate.

What is the one piece of advice you would give incoming freshman?

Although I know as a freshman everything is new ,but try to become friends with people outside of your grade and most definitely try to participate in a lot of school events or activities. Also please learn how walking in the hallways work.

Honestly, the amount of school spirit and the overall attitude this school has.

What are your hobbies outside of school? What do you like to do in your free time?

Hangout with my friends and family, and going to sporting events.

What is your favorite local place to order pizza?

Bolivar Pizza.

What song did you listen to most this year?

Young, Dumb & Broke.

Who is your favorite sports team/athlete? You can choose from any sport, but you can only pick one!

The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Which TV show/series are you most likely to binge watch over and over again?

Currently Riverdale or Stranger things.

Which meme did you use most often this year?

I use the Kermit the frog memes way too much.

Which physical item that you currently own would you not be able to live without?

Probably my life planner.

Who in your life do you most admire and why? This can be anyone you choose including family members, friends, bosses, teachers, etc.

Most definitely my mother. She is not only my best friend, but I aspire to be half of the amazing woman that she is.
