What are your plans after graduation?

I'd like to become a history teacher and an actress; I also plan on traveling to Europe, to visit places my ancestors were from. There's so much history in Europe that it's impossible to resist!

What is your favorite quote to live by?

I've watched many different movies and TV shows, but I've also become interested in this game called Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Zack Fair, the main character, is one of my favorite characters in that game. And this quote is from him right before he dies at the end of the game: "You'll be my living legacy. My honor, my dreams.... they're yours now." It's such a meaningful quote to me because Zack went through so much, being killed by the company he'd worked for because he refused to leave his friend behind.

What grade levels did you attend Tusky Valley Schools?

Preschool-12

What is your favorite memory of your time at Tusky Valley (K-12)?

Er.... it would have to be Homecoming in Freshman year, since it was my first ever school dance. And the first time dancing with a boy that wasn't my dad.

Who was your favorite teacher (K-12 including Buckeye) and why?

Mr. Kennat, Mrs. Troyer, Mr. Tytler, Mrs. Sams, and Mr. Love. Mr. Kennat is just hilarious, and my sisters both had him. Mrs. Troyer has a wacky sense of humor and just makes everything more fun. Mr. Tytler was.... Mr. Tytler. Don't need to say anything more. Mrs. Sams had all three of us Boyd girls and didn't run screaming in the other direction, as well as being a wonderful music teacher. And Mr. Love was a good teacher as well as having a great sense of humor.

What was your favorite K-12 class or grade level and why?

Senior, because I can graduate now!

Which project, paper, assignment, etc. that you completed during your time at TV (K-12) were you most proud of and which teacher was it completed for?

It'd have to be this year in Communications I, when I did a speech on the definition of a legendary hero. I personally think it was my best speech, even if Ms. Geibel didn't agree.

Describe your senior year in 3 words.

I want out!

Have you suffered from senioritis this year?

YES!!!! I want out of this school!

What was the biggest highlight of your senior year?

Haven't had any yet; maybe Prom, when I go.

What is your favorite school tradition and why?

Singing in the hallways after school's done. Singing makes me so happy, and other people seem to like it, so why stop?

What extracurricular activities did you participate in while at Tusky Valley?

Choir, then Select Choir. As well as the Beauty and the Beast musical last year. And I've been going to my brother-in-law Robert's Youth Group for the past few years, if that counts.

What is the one piece of advice you would give incoming freshman?

Endure your classes and enjoy the time with your friends. Learn what's truly important in life, and don't let other people influence you to what they think you should be.

If you could change one thing about our school, what would it be? Note: Bashing anyone will not be accepted. Feel free to express your feelings about what you'd like to see changed but we will not publish bashing of individuals.

The blocking of sites on the Internet. There were some sites that had good information about something I needed, but it was blocked. It's too similar to what my parents did to my laptop; I didn't like it then and I don't like it now.

What are your hobbies outside of school? What do you like to do in your free time?

I love reading (that's a given), singing (as demonstrated every day before 3:00), playing video games (mostly Legend of Zelda and Pokemon), watching anime and other shows and movies, with a major chunk of my time writing fanfictions. Carrie, my older sister, got me started on that last one, so blame her! But the fanfictions are a major part of my day now; I have my own account on Fanfiction.net, and people have viewed my stories from all over the world. Especially my most popular story: Death's Mistake.

In 5 words or less, how would describe yourself to someone who doesn't know you?

I have dreams and honor.

Where was your most frequented hangout spot in the community?

The library, maybe the mall up in New Phila. My room, too.

What is your favorite local place to order pizza?

Pizza Hut!

What song did you listen to most this year?

King by Lauren Aquilina, Stitches by Shawn Mendes, Shut up and Dance by Walk the Moon/Kyle and Devin (two different groups sang the same song and both versions are awesome), Centuries by Fall Out Boy, the Phantom of the Opera 2004 movie soundtrack, Dark Horse by Katy Perry, and the Crisis Core video game soundtrack.

What is your favorite book that you have read?

Do I have to choose just one? Marvel Comics is high up on the list (the older ones, at least), the Harry Potter series, the Mortal Instruments series, etc.

Which TV show/series are you most likely to binge watch over and over again?

Doctor Who!

If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world for one week, where would it be and what 3 people (you don't have to know them) would you take with you?

I'd love to go to Ancient Greece and Rome, with Catherine Tate, David Tennant, and Chris Hemsworth. They are some of my favorite actors, after all.

Which physical item that you currently own would you not be able to live without?

I... think it'd have to be my IPod. Is that sad? I can't bear to be without my music!

Who in your life do you most admire and why? This can be anyone you choose including family members, friends, bosses, teachers, etc.

I admire people who do what is right. I admire people who, even though bad stuff has happened to them, can still smile and laugh. I admire people who don't care for what race you are or your beliefs... only who you as a person are. I admire people with a sense of humor, because we all need laughter in our lives. And most of all... I admire people who truly care for me, since I can actually be really difficult.
