What are your plans after graduation?

I am taking a gap year and working until January 2019 when I am going on a six month missions trip to Africa. After I return from my missions trip, I will be attending Ohio Christian University for early childhood education.

What was your favorite K-12 class or grade level and why?

Senior year because I was able to do a lot more things this year.

Have you suffered from senioritis this year?

Yes

What was the biggest highlight of your senior year?

Senior night during football season. The band was playing light em up and we had fireworks going off in the background.

What is your favorite school tradition and why?

After home football games the band would march back into the band room and we would end our cadences there. We were always happy, win or lose. That always made my night.

What extracurricular activities did you participate in while at Tusky Valley?

Cheerleading, Band, Track

What was your favorite extracurricular or after school activity (sports, band/choir, play, clubs, attending events, etc) that you participated in and why?

Band because I've created so many friendships with the many hours I spent on that marching field and in that band room. In the band room, I've grown in music and in my friendships. The band is my family.

Were there any extracurricular awards that you earned during your time at Tusky Valley?

Varsity letters.

If you could start high school all over, what is one extracurricular or after school activity you would have participated in that you didn't?

Big Brothers, Big Sisters

What is the one piece of advice you would give incoming freshman?

Don't take anything for granted, your senior year comes fast. Also, do your homework and pay attention!

What are your hobbies outside of school? What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to sleep and eat in my free time. Sometimes hang with my friends.

Daily Grind in New Philadelphia
