What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to attend Ashland University to study political science through the Ashbrook Scholar Program.

What is your favorite memory of your time at Tusky Valley (K-12)?

Being crowned Homecoming Queen with King Bailey Sites.

Who was your favorite teacher (K-12 including Buckeye) and why?

Mr. Paisley. He works so hard for his students and Student Council. Every year, he says he doesn't want to manage Homecoming and every year he ends up helping so that our Homecoming dance and ceremony can be amazing.

What was your favorite K-12 class or grade level and why?

Pre-AP Government with Mr. Tytler. It was the hardest class I've ever taken but it was well worth it. I learned so many useful skills that I can use beyond high school.

What was your most embarrassing moment during your time at Tusky Valley?

My sophomore year, I rear-ended my teacher's car on the way to school.

Have you suffered from senioritis this year?

I'd say so, yes.

What was the biggest highlight of your senior year?

On my birthday my senior year, the entire student section surprised me and sang "Happy Birthday" to me at a football game.

What is your favorite school tradition and why?

The powderpuff game. It is so much fun to form a team with my classmates and just have fun in the game.

What extracurricular activities did you participate in while at Tusky Valley?

Student Council, Ski Club, fall play, band, and volleyball.

If you could start high school all over, what is one extracurricular or after school activity you would have participated in that you didn't?

Speech and Debate.

What is the one piece of advice you would give incoming freshman?

Always remember that our school is just a square in a cornfield, so if you get lost and can't find your class, just keep walking because you'll find it eventually.

If you could change one thing about our school, what would it be? Note: Bashing anyone will not be accepted. Feel free to express your feelings about what you'd like to see changed but we will not publish bashing of individuals.

Pave the student parking lot. I also wish we had more school spirit.

The Daily Grind.
