The Tusky Valley Trojan golf team finished a dominating PAC golf season by winning the PAC postseason tournament and wrapping up the overall PAC championship at the Legends Golf Course on Wednesday. The PAC championship is determined by the cumulative score of the PAC preseason, midseason and postseason tournaments. The Trojans, who won all three events, finished 41 strokes ahead of Indian Valley.

Landen Thompson shot a 73 to take Wednesday's overall medalist honors and capture PAC Player of the Year Honors. Thompson's cumulative three event score was 17 strokes better than teammate Brenton Franks who finished as the runner-up in the Player of the Year standings. Thompson and Franks, both juniors, were named to the PAC First Team.

Franks fired a 74 on Wednesday to tie for 2nd place in the postseason tournament. Junior David Thompson (82) and sophomore Michael Thompson (83) rounded out the scoring for the Trojans. Seniors Sam Higl and Drew Locker shot 86 & 87 respectively.

The event put the finishing touches on a perfect PAC season for the Trojans. The team swept the three league tournaments, finished a perfect 7-0 in PAC dual matches, and captured Player of the Year and Coach of the Year honors.

The Trojans now begin preparation for postseason play. They will be back on the course this Saturday when they travel to River Greens to compete in the Eastern District Open tournament before starting tournament play on Saturday, September 26th with the district tournament also held at River Greens.
