The Tusky Valley softball team dropped their PAC opener to the Manchester Panthers by a score of 14-6 on Monday night at Tusky Valley High School.

The Trojans trailed 10-0 in the bottom of the 5th inning but a six run outburst highlighted by Whitney Sowers grand slam extended the game. However, the Panthers were able to add one run in the 6th inning and three more in 7th inning to pull away for the 14-6 win.

Sowers added a single to go along with her second home run of the year while Maddison Maurer and Paige Levengood each had two singles for the Trojans.

Tusky Valley will be back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Manchester for a rematch with the Panthers. First pitch will be at 5:00 PM.
